Billing and Access Plan Options
Azure’s service is designed to give you maximum billing flexibility. The billing options are:
1. Time-based prepaid account using your credit card – You can pay for access by credit card from the login page at an Azure Wireless hotspot:
- Select the time required and enter your credit card details.
- You are given a username and password.
- The account provides unlimited downloads and is billed per minute.
- You can login as many times as the account remains valid.
- The account is valid for 1 year from first use, or until the time runs out.
- Special offer! Cheaper pricing. The costs (inc GST) are:
2 hours - $13.20
4 hours - $26.40
6 hours - $39.60
8 hours - $52.80
10 hours - $66.00
2. Day-based prepaid account using your credit card – You can pay for access by credit card from the login page at an Azure Wireless hotspot:
- Select the number of days and data received (downloaded) limit required and enter your credit card details.
- You are given a username and password.
- Your account is valid for the number of days chosen or until the data received (downloaded) limit is reached.
- Plan pricing starts at $20 (inc GST) and varies depending on the venue.
3. Premium SMS – You can now purchase time using your Australian Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, 3, Orange, or Virgin mobile phone.
Note: Your mobile phone service must have Premium SMS enabled.
- The cost is $5 inc GST for 40 mins.
- The cost will appear on your mobile phone bill.
- You do not need to use all your time in one go (you can logout).
- Time is deducted from your account by the minute.
- Your account is valid for 1 year from first usage (or until the time runs out).
The login page at the hotspot will give you details on how to use this payment option.
4. Payment via an Azure Wireless reseller – Azure has partnered with a number of leading resellers and Australian ISP’s (click here to see current ISPs/Resellers) for a more convenient way to access the wireless Internet. After you have registered with a reseller, simply choose the appropriate login screen and login using your username and password.
